About The Driver
A retired accountant. I spend my time in the gym, lunching or shopping with the girls, walking my lovely labrador, Jazz, and looking after my 'mechanic' (very important man). I live in Henley-on-Thames, but I am still a Yorkshire lass, at heart. I will still be using my lovely Lotus Elan S3. The one that most commentators say is a little AC Cobra look alike. It's the paint job. I used to drive to all the events in this car, but my mechanic has bought this monster trailer that can get two cars to the events. He says it should knock at least two seconds off my times!? In the off season I understand my mechanic has changed the oil! He has been spending too much time and money on his own cars. On the road I drive a Mazda MX5, which I also love. I have no shame. | |
Hillclimb / Racing Experience
I used to race a Lotus Elan SE Turbo. This was a great car but a bit heavy for the hills. The Elan S3 is much more satisfying. On the road I drive a Mazda MX5, which I also love. I have no shame. This year will be my tenth season. | |
