About The Driver
I'm a bit mad for motor vehicles of all types, me. The latest bee in my bonnet is a 1974 Malaguti moped, with obsessive preparation I'm convinced that 60mph+ on the flat is attainable from this buzzbox on wheels. In 2007 I did the Mongol Rally to Mongolia (obviously!) via Siberia in a Lada Samara and a while back I built and repeatedly crashed a light aircraft. Lotus racing by comparison is relatively safe and therefore gets the official stamp of approval from Mrs.Richy. Amen. My only other vice is a serious, irrational, all encompassing love for Everton Football Club. Meetings on a Saturday therefore present a perpetual dilemma, Club versus Car? | |
Hillclimb / Racing Experience
Used to circuit race a Mini Marcos with no particular success and now I carry on the tradition of racing ineptitude with prettier Lotus cars. | |
